Why Ironwood exists
Public accounting verifies where issued ZEC is held. Ironwood’s consensus rules restore a verifiable upper bound on the ZEC that can circulate.
All public value pools currently add up to the emitted ZEC supply. After NU6.3, Ironwood’s turnstile rules will prevent excess value from leaving Orchard and entering circulation.
